Prayer for Today
Monday 23rd November 2020
We are your sheep and you
are our shepherd, Lord Jesus.
You were prepared to die
for us, upon the cross;
just as though you would lose
your life defending us
from the wolves.
We have green pastures
beside still waters, where we can live with you, with one anther, until our life’s end.
As you love us, we can love you and each other as ourselves,
day by day.
We can follow you more nearly, day by day, while we learn from your teachings, day by day.
Let us see you clearly as we pray to you, day by day, and thank you for all the benefits you
have given us now and always. Amen.
