Harmony of voices singing together
in a choir, is sought within our halls and churches.
There are Trebles and Sopranos, Contraltos and Tenors, with Basses singing down below.
At very special moments when the rhythm is good and the notes sing sweetly and everything flows along easily without any effort at all.
Life can be like that as well.
Everyone can work and live in harmony, in love perhaps.
Keep us in harmony together Lord. We can go with the flow, without a worry as you are shepherding us on our way. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Today the church celebrates the life of St. Mary Magdalene. Mary has become known as “the apostle to the Apostles” because of her being the first person to whom the risen Jesus appeared to when she visited his tomb on Easter morning. John describes how Jesus sends her to tell the other disciples of his resurrection. To all accounts Mary had had a troubled life but had been healed by Jesus and she then followed him throughout his earthly ministry and was present at his crucifixion.
