Prayer for Today. Ascension Day

           Thurday 21st May 2020
          
           O God of power and might, 
           Your Son rose victorious 
           from the tomb and has now           
           ascended in triumph,
           to sit at Your right hand on high.
  
           Grant us Lord, that as Jesus Christ     
           has risen and ascended, 
           we too may, in our hearts 
           and our minds, rise and ascend,           
           So that we may continually dwell 
           with our Saviour, Jesus Christ,     
           who lives and reigns with You 
           and the Holy Spirit, One God,         
           world without end. 
           Amen.
